New music video Snakeyman Go from 4321 / Kidulthood / The Bill actor Arnold Oceng, known through his musical ventures as Snakeyman.
While many at the age of six were learning how to spell, Arnold Oceng was learning scripts. And now this award winning 23 year old is able to command attention everywhere he goes. He played the lead role in programmes such as Grange Hill (Calvin Braithwaite for 6 years), Holby City, The Bill, Casualty, Silent Witness, Doctors and Sold, as well as films including AdULTHOOD, The Prodigals, The Tapes and Noel Clarke’s latest blockbuster, 4321.
Through his musical accomplishments, Arnold is also known as SnakeyMan. His debut single ‘New Kid’ set the tone for a new breed of artist to stamp his mark on the industry, and the follow up single ‘Baby’ (which featured Young Nate), assured fans of the South London raised entertainer that he was here to stay. He won a coveted UMA Award in 2008, and has since received airplay on a range of commercial radio / TV stations including Choice FM, Kiss FM, BBC Radio One, BBC 1Xtra, MTV Base, Channel AKA, Viva TV and T4 Music. He has also received coverage from major publications including Bliss, The Guardian, RWD, Touch and Total Film Magazine.
Arnold now has his sights firmly set on establishing himself as a leading music artist / actor in the UK, and there’s no reason why this multi-talented entertainer can’t do just that. He is recording the title track to the gritty cult film ‘Terry’ (due for release in January next year), and has several single releases, a role in BBC3’s Sniggers With Attitude and even a collaboration with Big Brother 11’s Sam Pepper lined up before the years out.
